Combining a top sheet with stretch wrapping

Apply the sheet at the stage specified in your wrapping process so its edges can be secured appropriately. Keep the top flat enough to avoid unintended openings and check the overlap with side film. Avoid trapping a loose tail that can snag during handling. Inspect the cover after the pallet has completed representative handling.

Check the top of the load for exposed points and unstable cartons before placing the sheet. Use the agreed support or edge protection where required. Keep dirt and moisture from being enclosed as the cover is applied.

Place the sheet consistently and secure its edges through the approved wrapping sequence. Check each corner rather than judging only the front of the pallet. Avoid covering a label or inspection point that must remain accessible during dispatch.

After movement, inspect where the sheet joins the side wrap and where handling may have displaced it. Record any recurring gap or torn edge. Review the sheet size or application sequence if the same weakness appears on several loads.

Confirm your specification

Specify width, thickness, roll length or net material weight, core size, colour, packing, quantity and destination. Final dimensions and performance are confirmed by the sample and order.
