Water and dust entering a covered pallet
Inspect the path through which water or dust reaches the goods: top gaps, torn corners, side openings or moisture already present inside the pack. A top cover cannot correct every opening in the overall package. Review the sheet size, overlap, wrapping pattern and storage method, then repeat a controlled exposure check appropriate to the operation.
Compare the location of contamination with the cover arrangement. Marks directly beneath a gap suggest a different route from moisture spread throughout the pack. Inspect the goods and other packing layers rather than assuming the top sheet is the only source.
Look for lifted edges after normal movement and damage where the sheet crosses a projection. Check whether the overlap was applied consistently on all sides. A photograph before dispatch can help distinguish an application fault from later handling damage.
Test the revised arrangement under conditions relevant to the intended use. Record the cover size, wrap sequence and the observed entry point. Where full weather protection is needed, review the complete packaging system rather than promising it from a top sheet alone.
Confirm your specification
Specify width, thickness, roll length or net material weight, core size, colour, packing, quantity and destination. Final dimensions and performance are confirmed by the sample and order.
