Selecting a mini roll and a compatible handle

Check the bundle dimensions, required coverage and available space around the item. Confirm roll width, core dimensions and compatibility with the handle used by the operator. Try the roll on the actual bundle, particularly where edges are sharp or the surface is sensitive. Agree the film colour and packaging arrangement along with the roll specification.

Compare the roll with the actual task, including the space needed for an operator’s hand and dispenser. A roll that fits the item may still be awkward near a wall, fixture or closely spaced group of parts.

Decide whether the wrap must remain transparent for inspection or whether a coloured format would help identification. Check the finished bundle under normal workplace lighting, including any barcode that will be read through the film.

Confirm the supplied roll and handle together when a dispenser is required. Keep a sample of the accepted bundle with photographs of the wrap position. This makes later purchases easier to specify than relying on a roll name alone.

Confirm your specification

Specify width, thickness, roll length or net material weight, core size, colour, packing, quantity and destination. Final dimensions and performance are confirmed by the sample and order.

Product details are based on the GUDE catalogue and supplied photographs; operating guidance is general and must be verified on your equipment.
